New Member Needs Help

Hi, every one i need help!!!!!!!!!!!

 

i have a Galaxy 1.9TDI Zetec 2001 X Plate. I am getting a constant creeking noise coming from the front suspension i think ! when cornering. It has got worse in recent weeks and i just recently got a lot of vibration while driving on motorway, speed was about 50-60 , the whole car started to vibrate but seemed to originate from engine when i put my foot down.

 

Any ideas

do you get any knocking when going over bumps at low speed if so have a look at item 2 in the faq - alternativley enginegearbox restraining bolt -looks ok but sheared, does engine move excessively when revved in neutral - have somebody rev whilst chiecking engine Edited August 26, 2008 by NikpV

Its possible you could have two seperate problems here, I too was plagued by a constant creaking in the front suspension. It turned out to be the front anti-roll bar drop links. Although they had been replaced just a short time earlier, the ones I bought were very of poor quality (ebay) and from about 2 weeks after fitting I had trouble with the noise they were making.

 

A few other forum members had the same trouble with droplinks and at least one of them bought them from the same ebay seller that I did, heres a link to the original post on the subject.

If you do buy them, try pricing main dealers (Ford & VW) as some members have had competitive prices from them, although my local ford quoted me somewhere around
